This Great Horned Owl (Bubo virginianus) appeared with another one on the evening of June 27, 2018 in my front yard where all my birdbaths are. I had my trail cam set up that night and this is just one of the interesting animals it caught. I’d never seen a Great Horned Owl walking on the ground before this footage. The way he or she was walking with shoulders hunched up and talons stretched out reminded me of a tough guy strutting his stuff thinking, “Am I Bad or What?” You can watch this fascinating behavior in a short video on my YouTube channel here: https://youtu.be/Sbe2tD-T8EU And there’s a whole lot more where that came from because I live in a remote location about 50 miles south of Phoenix, Arizona which enables me to specialize in Sonoran Desert wildlife in its natural setting!
