Description

Another shot almost home nearing Nawiliwili Harbor on Kauai in Hawaii. Both a seascape and a landscape. The sea is deep on this side, the airport sitting on a flat piece of land jutting out along the coastline. The land mass on the left is the back of the east side of the island and is uninhabited. It's always been that way. The hills are too steep and rocky. Though in years long past, one family did build a retreat there for their own vacationing. At this time it is closed to the public. This is a sight I wish I could see more often. Sparkling Blue ocean and lots of unblemished land. I do wish I still lived on Kauai.
