Description
"After The Storm No22" is a close up view of the Catalina Mountains in winter after a couple of days of snowfall. This scene was presented to me as I was shooting primarily for black and white images of the clouds hovering low in the mountains. It was mostly a gray but still beautiful day with rain falling intermittently in the valley as I was shooting. I was keeping an eye behind me to the west as it was partially clearing and suspecting it might yield a pleasant sunset. All of a sudden the mountains in front of me were graced with an orange glow from the setting sun at my back. It was one of those fleeting moments as the glow was gone almost as quickly as it arrived. I hope you enjoy this vista as much as I did photographing it.
