This tranquil mountain landscape photograph with its message - Across the miles, My thoughts are of you, is perfect as a greeting card for special people who are far away. If a loved one can't be with you during the holidays, let them know you are thinking of them. This image was captured along a walking path that traverses a hill and culminates with this view of the Blue Ridge Mountains before heading back down. I have always enjoyed seeing the flower display evolve over the season in the lovely rock garden with the bench looking across toward the distant mountains. What a lovely spot to just sit and ponder nature. There can be no worries or concerns when you are here - just peace, calm and tranquility.

I am an exhibiting artist in southwest Florida (recently relocated from Hendersonville, North Carolina), and my art has been exhibited in galleries in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina and is in collections nationwide. I create abstract photography, mixed media photo painting, acrylic mixed media, and acrylic paintings. Many would make great decorative throw pillows or shower curtains.
