Description
A dragonfly image seen and photographed at sunrise in a wood fence post in Campbell County, Kentucky. The only explanation we can come up got it is when this fence post was a small tree, branches were trimmed off it leaving scars that expanded as the tree grew. When it was cut into a post, this was the result. The fence was recently torn down, and I was able to save the post and cut out the dragonfly like shape. It is on my desk at home, still a mystery nature created.
