A White Sport Coat and A Pink Carnation was an extremely popular song by Marty Robbins in the 1950s. It was said to have started the craze for the color combinations of pink and black since the bow ties worn with a white sport coat were black.
I painted this image on spur of the moment because the song keeps coming into my head.

Love this Mary! Now I'm singing that song... "A white sports coat, a big top hat!" I think those are the words, not even sure what song that is... but, it's in my head now.. I love the simplicity of a tux with a pink flower.. This would looks wonderful in a Tuxedo Shop or somewhere like that.. Or a good pillow to give to the bride and groom......
