A Birch Tree And A Stream
Photograph - Photographs
Baxter State Park was made a National Monument by President Barack Obama in 2016!! We are so lucky to have this land protected to be used for outdoor enthusiasts from all over the world. This idyllic scene was taken while my son and I hiked up the Chimney Pond Trail to Chimney Pond where our lean-to waited for us. I absolutely love birch trees, and to see this tree next to a swiftly running stream was incredible. It was a trip that I will never forget because I was hiking with my son who had just graduated from high school!!! Lots of memories made and lots of fantastic photography!
