Pattani, Thailand - May 7,2017: A front view of the grand Pattani Central Mosque located in central Pattani city, southern Thailand. The mosque was completed in 1963 after a nine years construction period. The design is loosely based on the Mogul architecture of the Taj Mahal in Agra, India. Pattani province in Thailand's deep south is a majority Muslim province with almost ninety percent of the population practicing Islam.
