Description
Freshly fallen leaves trapped under the ice of a clear pond, two seasons in one image. The last remnants of autumn preserved like an insect in amber until the spring thaw. I'm looking forward to spring with it's variety of colors and fresh scents but I still appreciate the beauty of winter. The cool crisp air, the eerie stillness during a snowfall and most of all the ice. Ice is beautiful in all of its formations and creates some of the most unique still life imagery.
