Alexandria, this is a great composition with the Cicada perched upon a large mushroom, almost entrenched on it, I should say! This persistent bug is going nowhere and for a bug, is "ancient" compared to the relatively short life cycle of bugs! Love the high contrasts and magnification of the bug that puts it in the spotlight! Love it! Fave! L/F!
