There is something so lonely and heartbreaking about a single, solitary bench sitting alone in the snow. It is definitely looking for a friend to share a warm chat with. But alas, this bench will end up waiting for the warmer weather to come back to Maine and specifically to Acadia National Park. This bench sits just looking out at Little Long Pond beside Seal Cove in the Rockefeller Private Property walk. Folks are allowed and encouraged to walk along the Carriage Roads in the property, but never ride your bike on this property in the summer. This property is for dogs, children and equestrians only. I changed this image to black and white to give it a stark, lonely feeling. But actually, this image does warm my heart and makes me happy. I can never be unhappy while on MDI, it's just not possible!
