Tribute To The Culinary Arts And Chefs

Greetings all Fine Art America and Pixel's members this is a very different art and photography contest. Everyone is welcome to submit your masterful works of art or photography of Food, Culinary Creations, Chef's.

Recently June 1, 2019 as noted on National and World News coverage New Orleans has lost an iconic Culinary Chef known locally and world wide as the Queen of Creole Cuisine Leah Chase owner of Dookey Chase Restaurant.

Chef Leah was a chef for 70 plus years and died at the age of 96 and up until her death remained cooking in her kitchen working some 16 hour days. Chef Leah prepared food for visiting President's, Civil Rights leaders, Musician's, Actresses, Actors, Tourist and locals, including those unfortunate to pay for their meal.

After Hurricane Katrina destroyed New Orleans, LA Chef Leah along with her husband rebuilt the iconic restaurant and on the bright red painted walls were paintings from prominent southern artist, nationally and around the world. As Chef Leah managed to shake hands of all the dinners including taking time to chat to them. The family intends to continue preparing the food which made her a Great Chef among Chef's in the American Culinary Industry and World.

The contest sponsored by New Orleans and Louisiana Perspectives entrants are welcomed to join the group but not a criteria to enter.

Each participant may submit 5 images.
