Sandy Scenes Photography Only

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE SUBMITTING!!!

**This contest is sponsored by the Go Take a Hike Photography Group; any images submitted should represent things that one may find out on the trail, in a natural setting – unless contest rules specifically allow exceptions.**

Show us photos where sand dominates the scene, following these rules:


1. Photography Only. No digital alterations, digital painting, mixed media, selective color, false backgrounds, added graphics or text allowed.


2. Sand must be the prominent component of your image - it may be beach sand, dunes, or desert. It is okay if there is beach grass, rock in the desert, etc. in your photos, but sand must dominate the composition. No man-made objects are allowed.


3. It is okay if people and/or pets are in the image, as long as they are not the focus of the image and are only a small part of the broader composition. Only one or two people may be in the shot; no nudity allowed. No tourist beaches with more than a couple of people in the image are allowed.


4. As always, there is ABSOLUTELY NO VOTER SOLICITATION ALLOWED in any Go Take a Hike Photo Group contest. Please allow your images to speak for themselves!


I reserve the right to remove any photos which do not meet the contest parameters. I look forward to seeing everybody’s work!

Each participant may submit 3 images.

1)   You must be a member of Licensing.Pixels.com in order to cast votes in this contest.   Your account must have been active at least 30 days prior to the start of the contest in order to vote.

2)   You may only vote once per image.

3)   You may vote for as many images as you like... but only once for any given image.
