After being employed as a counselor for over 28 years I retired to pursue my passion for painting.   I have been an Artist since childhood and the creative process has influenced everything I have accomplished in life.   My formal art training began in the 70's taking classes at Madison Wisconsin Area Technical College while raising two sons.   I studied drawing, acrylic and watercolor painting.   I continued to take painting workshops off and on throughout the years.   Not until my husband Steve and our sons Jason and Justin moved from Wisconsin to North Pole Alaska...more
