Artist Statement:
We live in a world where the authentic-self is becoming increasingly relevant. Our complex emotions are fighting to maintain and uphold the contemporary masquerade. I embrace the innermost self as a path to communicate the emotional mystique, polymorphisms and hybrid paradigms. My body of work is based on the transformed body within the mythical landscape while injecting basic human awareness. Society’s teaching of bravado and the subconscious reality of homogeneity at the expense of our authenticity provides the layout to discuss consternations, transformative livelihood and eudaimonic subplots.
