I am basically a self-taught artist and have been drawing and painting all my life. I have 12 fabulous grandchildren and a wonderful husband. Second to God, family is everything to me. I love to draw and paint animals but I do almost all subjects as well. I have dabbled with watercolors, Gouache, oils, and then discovered artist quality colored pencils. The colored pencils are my favorite medium to use for the main subjects. The backgrounds can be almost anything but iridescent watercolors are used most of the time. I live in rural central Pennsylvania at the base of the Appalachian Mountains. It is so peaceful and serene here that I believe God has given me a glimpse of Heaven-on-earth. I grew up in the country around horses and had my own horse when I was a teen. As a result, they are probably my favorite subjects to draw and paint. I do paint almost anything though. I sell mostly prints here on but there are several originals available too.
