I have been making artwork for as long as I can remember. Growing up in my mom's pottery studio, I learned at an early age how to manipulate clay into whatever I wanted such as pizzas, snowmen and birds. After patient instruction from my mom, around age five I was able to make discernible items and began selling my work at my mom's craft shows. Art continued to be a very important part of my life throughout high school & college at UNC Chapel Hill.
