My name is Jimmy Parker, and I have used Rolling Art Studio as my artwork and automotive name. I started this journey here for photography, much automotive based, but more for learning and meeting others with better skills. By 2013 I had learned the amount of photographers in the market was fairly flooded. I made my money through automotive repair, so I just kept playing with cars while enjoying photography, and learning digital art/ photo manipulation. In 2014 I realized something was wrong and in early 2015 I was diagnosed with a cancerous tumor (HPV) in my neck. I spent the summer dealing with heavy chemo, followed by radiation. While dealing with that I learned to do spray can art and use my airbrush in new ways. By the end of 2015 I somehow survived and went back to work on wrecks! Was not at full strength, but built up quickly and was at a good 85% by 2016. Life does not always go as planned. The fear of it coming back was made a reality in 2017 when I started having headaches, and the scan showed it had. At this point I had continued painting and moved into traditional landscape painting on canvas. Basically, I watched Bob Ross vids! After radical neck disection to remove tumor I didn't expect to go back to automotive. I had started selling my canvas paintings, but just couldn't get away from my passion. I now restore cars and do landscape paintings, along with wood/ epoxy turning! The paintings offered are not available in print form.
