I have lived in various places in the UK but for the last 35 years I have lived in the Coastal Town of Herne Bay, Kent, UK - The Garden of England!
As many of you know for many years I have been a Fine Art Photographer. I have now retired and whilst I am still pursuing my passion for photography and any work that I publish is available for sale through my Pixels website any profits from the sale of my work will from now on be equally divided between the following two UK charities - ALZHEIMERS RESEARCH and TOGETHER FOR SHORT LIVES Please consider a purchase if you like any of my work and help these two worthy causes.
I could expound about personal photography - but that is exactly what it is - Personal. What the eye sees through the lens and how it uniquely translates that image into a fixed medium.
These days most of my work uses and involves digital media and equipment using Lumix and Olympus DSLR Cameras. I still have a treasured collection of vintage film cameras and equipment and I still think there is a great place for film for the enthusiast.
I have always had an avid interest in all aspects of photography with a particular penchant for Railway Photography, Transport, Landscape and Nature.
I have been a practising photographer for around 55 years, since my early teens.
