Raju Alagawadi started in the field of nature photography almost fifteen years ago as an avenue to better capture and relate to the natural world around him. The hills, the flowers, the streams and the birds and the animals have always excited me, particularly the western part of New York where once I reside, explains Raju. I love all the four seasons around there, which has given me abundant opportunities for my interest and skills in photography.
As a self-taught yet accomplished photographer, Raju immensely enjoys capturing nature images. I challenged myself to rise up to standards and fulfill my dream of getting my first image published in Reptile and Amphibian Magazine, said Raju. This opened up the doors for other opportunities to publications like I love NY travel guides, Genesee country magazine, Aquarium Fish magazine and several local publications. He also sell his images as greeting cards, prints, posters and calendars. Additionally, Raju's images have been used by business for product line marketing. He has a special interest in birds portrait photography and has acquired many images over the years. Raju regularly gives slide presentations of birds to local bird club members.
