I've always had a bit of an artistic streak, and I enjoy the fact that with photography, one can readily capture beauty more true to the natural, employing supportive technique and understanding. I prefer digital photography that is this way - not over-processed - unless it's more of a stylized 'image', or the photographer wants to capture, in a still, something that hints at a natural process - such as a flowing waterfall or the movement of clouds over the passage of a while. I look forward to trying those and many other types of photography in future.
Most recently, I've been taking shots of single flowers on a white background, because I like the effect, it's readily available to me, and I think - even when I do other things - it should be a long-running theme. It also lends itself well to 'fine art' imagery, for interiors, etc, I believe!
