Raised between Europe and the Caribbean, I had the strong influence of my 'artsy' Pericot family at a very young age when we lived in Barcelona, Cataluna. My enthusiasm for photography started at my adolescence with the first camera I received from my mother. This is when I discovered the magical world of photography I enjoy today.
25 years ago, I found my passion while travelling the world for a specific photographic subject: Medieval Architecture, Medieval Doors, Landscapes.
My most recent inspiring and spiritual experience is a 35 days walk on El Camino De Santiago de Compostel in September 2019. I walked 450 miles old pilgrim trail through the north of Spain. You can find the photography of my trip in the gallery page on my website.
My inspiration is colonial and medieval architecture captured between Central America, South America, the Caribbean, Mexico, Europe, the Middle East and Asia. Walking in an old village, with my camera in hand, capturing a small part of culture in different places of the world, brings me a real pleasure.
Through the photography, my work emphasizes the architectural details, historical marks and civilization, like a portal to a different dimension. Within each town or landscape is a universe of possibilities, choices and arrangements within its cultural background.
My photography captures a sense of warmth and beauty. It provides visual and emotional satisfaction for those who appreciate and evaluate this art.
