The book pages I use as background are from La Petite Illustration, an old French magazine from around 1910. It published plays, novels and short stories.
'MEMENTO' is a synonym for remembrance, a memory. It's a nice word to explain what I do: upcycling images and call attention to them so they won't be forgotten.
