I am a retired U.S. Army 1SG (Airborne). After my retirement, I wanted to do something that would allow me to both commune with nature and use my camera to help express my love of all the great beauty that we have been blessed with in this wonderful world. As a member of the Professional Photographers of North Carolina, I abide by the rigid standards and ethics that is expected of a professional in the field of photography. I do my utmost to not interfere with the subjects of my photography when in the field. My subjects are not staged but are in their natural habitat going about their daily lives. I am the happiest when I am in the forest or at the shore with my camera and my dog. I enjoy capturing my subjects in their native environment just doing what comes naturally without any interruption on my part. I hope you enjoy my work and are as pleased with viewing it as I am in capturing it. Remember to take a moment and look around you at all that Mother Nature has to offer.
