Though my life story reads more like an adventure novel set in such exotic locations as Costa Rica, Hawaii and the Desert Southwest, I was born in the State of Maine and grew up in Seattle.   I was an East Coast girl growing up in a West Coast world.   Weekends were spent up at Mount Rainier hiking and skiing in the National Park, Christmases were spent in Hawaii.   This sparked my passion for beauty and nature, for textures and especially for color which is now reflected in my art.   I encourage you to visit my website at www.KarrieJButler.com
