I enjoy painting with a variety of bold colors, values, and textures to attract the viewer and hold their interest.   I love the transparency of watercolor, which allows me to create numerous colorful varieties and effects.   Primarily I paint on watercolor canvas, which enhances the brightness and color of my paintings.   My subjects are landscapes, city scenes, and local attractions which highlight the traditions and relaxed lifestyle of South Alabama where I live, and scenes in Italy, the land of my ancestors.   IMy paintings can be seen at the Cathedral Square Gallery in Mobile,...more
