I am an artist who is inspired by the reality of life and nature, but especially, the change of seasons. Nature art, still life, landscapes and floral paintings in watercolor, acrylic and as ink or pencil drawings make for most most of my art collections. I find endless inspiration in nature. I sell my original paintings from art studio in Ajax, Ontario. I accept commissions for acrylic painting, watercolor painting, pastel painting and drawings. My popular art classes for adults and adolescents are a great place to start drawing and to discover secrets of watercolor and acrylic painting.
My art is created on location, from my sketches, or using real items as reference. Drawing comes absolutely naturally to me, so I am drawing and sketching anywhere and a lot. I started drawing at a very young age and always used the actual items for still life, as well as real nature views and landscapes for my paintings.
I personally prefer human mastery and talent over digital adjustments, therefore, I stand for pure and genuine, handmade artistic expression.
My work is displayed in private and public places in Latvia, private collections in Germany, USA and Canada.
