The Salinas Valley of central California, once home to author John Steinbeck, is a major hub of agricultural activity and is often referred to as the 'salad bowl of the world'. With my loyal Labrador retriever (first Melody, now Charlotte) at my side, I enjoy photographing the local agriculture, as well as the scenery and wildlife of the hills, mountains and beaches of the beautiful Monterey peninsula.
