I was born in West Virginia, my parents moved to Doraville, Georgia, when I was two years old, so I grew up in Georgia. I met my wife, Jo Ann, in Georgia in 1992, she was from Jensen Beach Florida. We went out on our first date in 1992 and have been together every since. We moved to Jensen Beach, Florida, full time in 2004. I love it in Florida.
I did a little photography in the eighties, but had to spend most of my time working. I reintroduced myself to photography when I retired. Brought a Canon Rebel X when we took a cruise to Alaska and got hooked on digital photography. Many cameras and lenses later I am taking mostly Wildlife photos. I look at photography as capturing 'A Moment in Time', telling a story with a picture. I also like taking photos of fast moving subjects like planes, cars, sporting events, etc. I am expanding my work into Landscape and fine art. I also got my wife involved in photography and she is a good photographer in her own right. That is nice because we have the same interest and like to travel and take pictures.
