Caroline Conkin has returned to St.   Augustine Florida, where the brilliance of the Atlantic light and the bright colors characteristic of the Sunshine State have influenced her painting.   Conkin is currently interested in iconic landscapes, seascapes and skyscapes, and she has recently created a series of mini-paintings of local shore birds.   She first began this work in St.   Augustine, FL with its rich history and Spanish architecture and explains her passion.
