Brinda Lane-Pumphrey is a Colorado artist.   Recently Brinda started a series that attempts to capture place and time.   She thinks about landmarks, wildlife, flora, mood, colors, and her lived experiences that represent specific places.   She then layers those images and colors creating a visual interpretation of the place.   The images emerge and recede within the composition emphasizing the permanence of the landscape and the ephemeral nature of wildlife, fauna, and seasons.   Brinda is currently working on a National Park series as well as paintings that represent...more
