Bob grew up in northern New Jersey and graduated from Fairleigh Dickinson University.   He moved to Raleigh, North Carolina, to pursue graduate studies at North Carolina State University.   In Raleigh, he fell in love with nature at Umstead and Eno River State Parks and joined the Capital Group Sierra Club to help 'explore, enjoy, and protect the planet'.   He later became Chair of the club and founder of the Triangle Environmental Network.   Bob met his wife, Jill, on the trail and they moved to South Carolina in 2014.   They have the great fortune to live in the...more
