Billy Gogesch is the Alpha Pup at Pupfish Design in the Eastern Sierra.   The Eastern Sierra, shaped by forces below, has heaved, torn, exploded, folded, and slid into dramatic landscapes only to yield them one grain at a time to the relentless elements above.   This place is at once fragile and indestructible.   It demands to be known fully or not at all.   Seen through the speed-blurred lens of a car window, the sand, the alkali flats, the clumps of sage, the tuff bluffs scroll past the captive traveler as foreign symbols in an alien text.   But spend some time here...more
