Hi, I'm Beverly
I'm a self-taught artist who has gone through many transformations during my artistic journey. Most of these photographs have been altered in software to produce the Colors and tones I love and some have been layered with textures to create a 'painterly' effect.. I can start a Photographic art piece, get so involved, and its hours before I set it down. The vast feeling of accomplishment after I finish is grand. I also can be my worse critic as well.
I find it funny to come to this section 'about Me', that is why I like behind the lens of a camera, because I make it about my subject, You. So here are a few points about me. Pretty much all my life I have lived in the state of Washington, in The Great Northwest. Spent 6 great years in Alaska enjoying its Stunning Beauty and working at a Christian Book and gift shop. With Alaska's awesome landscape, and incredible wildlife I have learned a lot....Now my husband and I have decided to settle into the great state of Arizona. Arizona has MUCH Beauty to see...
National Park, DESERT, Love the cactus flowers (Colors), Wetlands in Tucson and wait for it Nascar Racing and of course, so much more....(to many of my favorites). My favorite phrase since been here in Arizona is, 'Blooming in the Desert'. I used this phrase for one of my Art Pieces... I am married to my BEST Friend and husband Dennis since 1982 and he is my biggest fan and teacher......
We serve a Awesome Father God and that is another reason we are here is to continual to grow in the Lord and to see what His Plans and Purpose is here in Arizona.
Now it is 2024 and we just moved to Texas to see what God has for us here and to SEE this Great State and The Beauty ahead of us.... Thank You Jesus
