While living in Chicago, through high school, I enjoyed weekly visits to the Art Institute.   This early exposure to famous artists initiated my interest in art.   I was torn between a career in nursing and that of art.   I chose nursing.   Fortunately after retiring I began studying water color with a variety of teachers in southeast Michigan.   I became a member of the Huron River Art Collective, Salt Valley Artists, Kaleidoscope Artists Collective and I have exhibited my work in several local venues and have won in several juried contests.I enjoy working in...more
