Mr. Sheinbein uses photography to explore his environment and ultimately capture and share the beautiful awe of the natural world we inhabit. Always looking for intriguing scenes, he travels with camera and tripod in search of subjects and compositions which often get passed by going unappreciated.
With every shot captured he strives to catalog not just a singular moment in time of the visual image passing thru the lens, but the entire context of the surrounding atmosphere. He finds it greatly humbling to reflect upon the comparative scale of a subject, as well as its span of time. He invites viewers to develop their own curiosity to life and frequently take a detouring venture from a typical path.
As you let your curiosity guide your exploration of your own environment, not only stop to notice and smell the roses, but traverse the pathway the roses might be hiding. Follow that avenue with your perspective noticing high and low, not just what’s straight ahead in front of you.
