I have been exposed to the art world since a child roaming the halls of Art Galleries throughout Europe with my artist/architect father. During my military days in Vietnam I became exposed to photography by doing black and white aerial photography and processing it in my own dark room and taking color slides as well. Not until the age of digital cameras did I reintroduce myself to photography and raising two wonderfully talented sons who were actors and musicians and was able to help them along the way taking photographs for their respective portfolios (several are in my portfolio here). Now that I am retired I chronicle my travels, especially my sailing adventures. I have put in over ten thousand miles covering the whole of the east coast on both the Inter coastal waterway (ICW) and ocean side from Maine to the North to the Virgin Islands in the south and many parts of the Florida Keys and with time to the far reaches of the globe if possible.
With the advent of so many digital software programs, I have attempted to limit its use in my photographs and present what I see in my minds eye. I know it seems old fashioned but it will be recognizable as not having been heavily edited if nothing else......
