Sharon Williams is an artist specialising in photography, capturing the ordinary in extraordinary images. She describes herself as ‘a painter in a hurry’, (Ernst Haas). Using her camera as her paint brush, using motion, colour and light my images unveil what we frequently fail to see. Living in Ireland Sharon is fortunate to have the palette of the rich Irish landscape, from wild Atlantic seas to barren mountain ranges there is an abundance of moods. Her work is born out of curiosity and imagination, divorced from reality it is ambiguous and mystical and most importantly mindful.
