I was born a Manxman - a native of the Isle of Man in the centre of the British Isles - and my heritage from there sometimes brings a Celtic element to my work. However, another side of my personality has often been expressed in my acrylic painting and photography in a more extraverted, Mediterranean way. This has no doubt been influenced by the fact that I have travelled through Europe and elsewhere in the past, but I have come to look for inspiration nearer to my home in recent years in a beautiful part of the north of England. My Christian faith underlies what I do in art as in the rest of my life. I am a retired clinical psychologist and am married with children and grandchildren.
I have no formal artistic qualifications but am indebted to tutors in informal classes attended occasionally over the years.
Initial prices given are for basic unframed prints.If you are considering buying a framed print, do look at the vast range of frames and mounts as well as sizes.Prices quoted for 'Anytime' 5' x 7' greetings cards are reduced considerably for packs of 10 or 25, plus postage and packing. Your own message can also be printed inside.
T-shirts, throw pillows, mugs and even shower curtains are now also available! NB. their dimensions are 7 cm longer than the usual standard size of 180 cm square. If you wish to have an image made specially into a T-shirt, see the sample under 'peacock butterfly' and then email me with your enquiry. Similarly with mugs: some are ready for sale and can be found by clicking on the first thumbnail image. If ordering a mug otherwise, a 'portrait' format image is fine but a 'landscape' one will extend over more of the surface area.

It now produces cards and prints in the UK as well as the USA and postage times are accordingly prompt. Other merchandise using my images are available though some are shipped from the USA.
