Born in Massachusetts and growing up in an extended artistic family, Joyce always had a paintbrush or drawing pencil in her hand.   Her first artistic loves were ships and the sea.   After being transplanted to the Southwest Joyce became captivated by plants, the animals and beauty of the surrounding desert.   While she enjoys putting this all on canvas, don't be surprised if occasionally you notice a sea shell or two.   Adding to her broad base Joyce recently acquired the skill of Oil Rub Out from the master himself Lou Maestas.   Joyce lives in Tucson Az with...more
