Drives my eyeballs crazy, but I like it anyway. I had an art teacher whose thesis consisted of many paintings of just black and white striped abstracts. This reminds me.

This really speaks to me. I have hEDS (hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome). EDS is represented by the zebra, as our condition is rare. The unsteady/warped background speaks to me on several levels... the way my joints feel, the mental fog, the emotional turmoil. As an artist myself, whose main goal is to connect with someone's emotions, I truly appreciate and admire this piece of work.
