I dedicate this photograph to my dear father who passed away in December 2018. The night before we took this walk at Scarborough Beach, I had an amazing dream about my wonderful father. In my dream, I was outside on a very sunny and beautiful day, very similar to the one in this photograph. He walked up to me and I was so elated to see him. He looked wonderful and I told him so. He smiled at me and told me that he was feeling really good. I told him how happy I was to see him and we smiled at each other. After I awoke from the dream, I was so happy and had so much energy. Grieving a loved one zaps you of all your energy. It just takes so much out of a person to concentrate on completing the most menial of tasks. But seeing him and feeling his love gave me so much energy. Love is energy and love gives a person hope. I miss my dad every day, but I do know that he is with me each and every day. I love him so much and miss him more and more every day. He would have loved this photograph. He loved the ocean and would spend hours on his boat sailing these very same waters in his small sailboat the Chin Chin. God Bless you dad and may He keep you safe and happy. Love you so much.
