This painting depicts a winter woodland scene with a thin sprinkling of snow and a thatched cottage. It is largely made up out of my imagination, although I have used some photo references from my large library. I have made use of a number of golden sections in the composition, notably the vertical positions of sun, the lady in the red coat and the stream. My favourite dog, Oscar, makes an appearance again, this time apparently having a conversation with his owner. I used this painting for one of my Christmas cards.
