In this image, I have tried to capture the mystic of wine and wine cellars. Humans have been drinking wine for thousands of years and storing wine for almost as long.
The traditional wine cellar was often a dark, musty corner down in a basement or cellar. The modern wine cellar however tends to show off the beauty and elegance of the wine bottle and wine drinking.
That is what I have tried to capture in this photograph These wine bottles were backlit to provide maximum enhancement of the wine bottle. The two dimensional array of bottles combined with the soft orange/red colour makes for a very soothing image.
In addition to making a beautiful print, this photograph looks amazing on a tote bag.
