The charming English town of Windsor is home to Windsor Castle, home to the queen. While visiting Windsor during the week between Christmas and New Years, we were delighted to see everything all decked out for the holiday season. One of the more interesting decorations, in my opinion, was this huge purple crown strung above one of the main streets of the shopping area. Representative of the royal family of the House of Windsor, it seemed to be attracting quite a bit of attention from visitors who were there to tour the castle and perhaps get a glimpse of the queen!
