The day I fell in love with your "Hummingbirds" this one completely stopped me in my tracks. Something distracted me and I had to hop offline, but I've been meaning to come back and view this one more closely. It's VERY haunting. I wonder if you're looking into the future for us ... maybe so ... and of course at first blush it and your artwork have a bit of an ominous edge. But looking closely, I can't help but be awed at your clever use of color ... the reds framing the cool green ... that glorious pop of blue (heaven) ... the perfect light on the silvery gray of the fencing and sidewalk ... and I love the hint of reflection of the wheel chair in the whiteboard. But most of all, it's the mute appeal for compassion and kindness in the face of your little tin man. I feel like you're saying that whatever the future brings, there will always be a human connection among us.
