Orange, yellow, and purplish blue wildflowers create streaks of color across this simple 16x9 horizontal photograph, giving it the look of an abstract. The orange flowers are most likely a type of Indian Paintbrush.
This image also includes a sprinkling of one of six species of bluebonnet, all six of which are considered the state flower of Texas. Captured near Chappell Hill, Texas, in the spring of 2014. No sky. No people.
Nikon D80, Nikkor 50mm/f1.8 lens (circular polarizer) and ND filter, shot outdoors with available light.
