Title
Wild Roses
Artist
Anne Norskog
Medium
Painting - Floral Painting
Description
Wild roses grew along the ditch banks of our ranch in Wyoming. They had little scent but the delicate blooms were a splash of color brightening everything around them. Honey bees, song birds and little girls gathered near the displays, sometimes daring to break off a branch and take it back to the kitchen to be put in a Mason jar filled with water.
All of my art is original, drawn by me, colored by me.

Hi Robert, Personally, I prefer to see them growing. This type of wild rose grows riot all over Wyoming. While beautiful, it is best to admire them from a bit of a distance--nasty thorns. ;-D

Anne, I don't know which flower picture I should post this on.They are all pretty. The paintings bring to mind a poem I wrote a while back. I titled it: "Moment of Truth" Is the flower most beautiful when you pick it, Knowing it will wilt and die, Or is it most beautiful if you've seen it but once, Knowing you will never again pass it by? Keep up the good work.
