The great white trillium is a beautiful three petaled perennial wildflower that blooms in the spring in wooded areas of eastern U.S. and Canada. It grows in the rich soil of deciduous or mixed forests. The white trillium is a favorite food of white-tailed deer and is the provincial flower of Ontario. This one was photographed in Ile Bizard, Quebec, Canada.
