Within the Tlaquepaque Arts & Crafts Village embodies the artful beauty of the town of Sedona, Arizona. Locals call it the art and soul of Sedona. You feel a bit like you’re in Mexico, and that was the intention. Created more than forty years ago by Abe Miller to showcase local artisans. This beautiful place has become a cultural icon of Sedona.

As I came upon this peaceful scene, I was getting my camera ready & the bells that you see began to ring out.The ringing was rather startling to begin with but the sounds seemed to have a very peaceful tone.

As depicted here, merely strolling around is a visual treat, with fountains, Spanish tiles, cobbled walkways and tons of flowers and roses. It’s part shopping village, part gallery walk, and part garden.

Sedona is one of those places that feels special just by virtue of standing there. Maybe it has to do with all the Vortexes or the collective consciousness there, because every single local I spoke to had a story and every one of them felt reverence for the place. Sedona is a magical place in terms of good energy and raw beauty.
